Kalmte, rust en balans

“Calmness, peace and balance” 

Doesn’t this make you drift away? It certainly makes me! This triptych symbolizes peace, balance, and inner harmony for me. 

It’s always been a challenge for me. When I want something, I go for it, and that can feel quite restless. I’ve learned in the meantime that I need to consciously pause, sometimes literally. Take a deep breath and put things into perspective. It doesn’t always have to be ‘now’, and tomorrow is just fine too. I don’t always have to participate in everything and can perfectly enjoy an evening doing nothing. I had to learn this. Coaching has helped me a lot. Learning to say “no” and living in line with my own values. It gives me balance; I feel calm. 

It’s this feeling that I’ve tried to convey in this triptych. Does it work for you too?
