Flow

“Flow”

Flow is for me a perfect state of being that I mostly experience when I lock myself in my art studio, put on piano music, and start painting. I forget to eat and drink. Time flies by incredibly fast, and before I know it, the day is already over. I often find myself completely covered in paint without realizing it. It doesn’t matter what day or what weather it is, I can always return to that feeling, that state of being. That’s a very comforting thought. 

This canvas symbolizes that specific state for me. The tranquil flow of thoughts coming and going, the different shades of blue blending together, above and below each other, forming some kind of flow – my flow.
